Muscle control device


At the recent 2005 graphics and new technologies convention, known to the production industry as Siggraph, the Japanese NTT Communication Science Laboratory presented a device that stimulates body muscles and controls body movement.

This device is a pair of probes, placed behind the ears, and it taps into the brain system and triggers the nerves that control certain muscles of the body. The designing company claims that this would bring a solution to people with movement problems and improve the body communication language.

Here is though another point of view. What if at that point those probes can be used to command our body against our will? We have witnessed videos of the effects of that device and they can be alarming.
